Kuala Lumpur, 12 September 2019 — CARING MOMS CEO, Major (Retired) Shera Ann Bosco was chosen as a panelist for Mrs. Malaysia World 2019/2020.
The competition is “A celebration of married women to capture the success of marriage and use it to bring more joy into the world ”, says Datin Harveen Kaur, Mrs. Malaysia World National Director and former beauty queen herself, after winning the title of ‘Mrs. Malaysia World 2017’.
The competition season kicked off with a national audition held at Pavilion Hotel, KL, where hundreds of married women from Malaysia fought for their chance to become the next beauty queen and inspire the world with the warmth and kindness of their heart.
“Judging the competition was difficult because all the contestants were professionals, even though a lot of them don’t have that experience in pageantry ”, says Shera.
“ With the competition looking for real emotions, and real stories, being a mother has certainly amped the contestants, with many of them being extremely relatable ”, she added.
Based on the qualities of negotiation, bravery, leadership power, individuality and commitment, 35 finalists were selected for the final round of the competition.
The first and oldest beauty pageant of its kind in the world, Mrs. World has captivated hearts all across the globe. Showcasing the joys of motherhood, the beauty competition has grown to become a platform of trust, passion, love, and humility.
“ Women want to come out, and they want to be heard. This platform gives them the chance to get their voice out.”, noted Shera.
“ This is also what CARING MOMS do. We give women a voice, restore their confidence, and help them gain financial independence ”, she further mentioned.
Focusing on building self-confidence, akin to the Mrs. Malaysia World competition, CARING MOMS wants to empower women to see the beauty and value within themselves.
“Your confidence is your beauty, and it’s up to you to hone it, to become the best version of yourself”, says Shera.
