KUALA LUMPUR, 21 JAN 2020: The birth of spring signifies the arrival of Chinese New Year and CARING MOMS gave many mothers and women a head start to a prosperous year ahead through its entrepreneurial platform.
The CARING MOMS Chinese New Year Prosperity Bazaar 2020 was held on Jan 18 and 19, 2020, at Jungle Gym in Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
The venue provided a place for kids to sweat it out while their parents shopped. The two-day bazaar began with a “CARING MOMS Prosperity Yee Sang Toss” to wish all guests and vendors an auspicious start.
CARING MOMS founders – Major (Retired) Shera Ann Bosco and Umesh Narasimhaiah – welcomed the VIPs who officiated the launch, Tunku Maziah Tunku Mukhtar, director of Nyla SDN BHD, and Datuk Marina Chin, Malaysia’s former track queen who is a gold-silver medalist of the SEA games and international games in the 70s, as well as all mothers and families who attended the event.
The Wu Yi Lion Dance and God of Prosperity walkabout saw children rush to stroke the lions and to capture photographs.
The bazaar included many fun activities for the vendors, customers, and children to participate in such as The Beats Challenge, Animal Charades and more. Winners were given goodie bags for their efforts.One of the highlights of the bazaar was the “Miss CARING MOMS Cheongsam Beauty Pageant 2020”. Premmika Harikrishnan walked away with the grand prize of RM1,000.
The confident interaction from seasoned women entrepreneurs gave the bazaar a warm, homely feel.
By the end of the event, CARING MOMS had once again empowered women to develop and grow their entrepreneurial skills in a safe environment.
