CARING MOMS Aims to Build a Network of 300 Doctors by 2029: Bringing Healthcare Closer to Home
For many Malaysians, visiting a doctor involves making an appointment and travelling to a clinic. However, for elderly patients, bedridden individuals, people with special needs and those living with chronic illnesses, even a routine medical consultation can be challenging.
At CARING MOMS GROUP SDN BHD, we believe access to healthcare should not be limited by a person’s ability to travel.
This belief is driving our next chapter: an ambitious three-year plan to develop a network of 300 doctors by 2029, helping families access suitable medical services in the comfort of their homes.
Understanding the Need for Home-Based Healthcare
Through our experience providing caregiving and patient support s
ervices, we have seen the challenges families face when arranging medical care for loved ones who have difficulty travelling.
An elderly parent may be too frail to leave home. A bedridden patient may require specialised transportation for a routine medical review. A person with special needs may find unfamiliar or crowded clinical environments overwhelming. Meanwhile, families managing chronic illnesses may struggle to coordinate repeated appointments and follow-up care.
For working adults caring for ageing parents, these responsibilities can become particularly demanding.
In many situations, the challenge is not simply finding medical services. It is finding a practical way to access them.
Home-based medical consultations may provide a suitable option for selected patients, allowing qualified doctors to assess their needs without requiring them to travel to a clinic for every consultation.
This is the gap CARING MOMS hopes to help address.
Welcoming Dr Uma to the CARING MOMS Healthcare Service Panel
Building a dependable healthcare network begins with meaningful professional partnerships.
We are pleased to welcome Dr Uma, based in Setia Alam, to the CARING MOMS healthcare service panel.
Our recent meeting marks another step towards developing a coordinated network of medical professionals who share our commitment to improving access to appropriate home-based care.
Through this collaboration, patients and families can enquire about suitable services, including:
- Doctor home visits and medical consultations
- Routine health assessments
- Wound assessment and dressing, where clinically appropriate
- Chronic disease reviews
- Post-hospitalisation medical follow-up
All consultations and procedures are subject to the attending doctor’s clinical assessment, availability and determination of whether home-based treatment is appropriate.
We look forward to building more partnerships with healthcare professionals who share our vision of bringing suitable medical care closer to the people who need it.
Our Three-Year Roadmap: 300 Doctors by 2029
Our goal extends beyond individual doctor home visits. We aim to establish a structured network that helps connect families with qualified medical professionals across Malaysia.
Year 1: 2026–2027 — Establishing the Foundation
Target: 50 doctors
Our first phase focuses on establishing partnerships in the Klang Valley, developing referral and coordination processes, and creating clear service standards to support a dependable patient experience.
Year 2: 2027–2028 — Expanding Regional Coverage
Target: 150 doctors in total
We aim to extend our reach into additional communities and major urban centres. We also intend to strengthen coordination between participating doctors, caregivers, nurses and physiotherapists to support patients with different care requirements.
Year 3: 2028–2029 — Building a Wider Healthcare Network
Target: 300 doctors in total
Our long-term ambition is to develop a wider network of participating doctors across Malaysia, helping more families explore appropriate home-based medical care when travelling to a healthcare facility is difficult.
These figures represent CARING MOMS’ future growth targets and do not indicate the current size of our medical panel.
More Than Doctor Home Visits: Connecting Different Aspects of Care
A patient’s healthcare needs do not always end with a medical consultation.
Following hospital discharge, for example, a patient may require a doctor’s review, physiotherapy for mobility and rehabilitation, nursing services for appropriate clinical procedures, and caregiver assistance with daily activities.
When families have to coordinate these services independently, the process can become complicated and time-consuming.
CARING MOMS aims to help make access to appropriate support more straightforward by developing partnerships across different care disciplines.
Our vision is to create a more coordinated pathway in which:
- Doctors provide medical assessments, diagnoses and treatment decisions within their professional scope.
- Nurses provide appropriate nursing care and clinical procedures.
- Physiotherapists support rehabilitation, mobility and functional recovery.
- Caregivers assist with daily living activities and personal care.
- Families receive clearer information about available support and the next steps in arranging care.
Our role is to facilitate access and coordinate suitable services while ensuring clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals.
Home-based services are intended to complement, not replace, hospitals, clinics or emergency medical care.
An Invitation to Malaysian Doctors: Join Our Growing Network
As we work towards our 2029 target, CARING MOMS welcomes registered medical practitioners who are interested in joining our healthcare service panel.
We are particularly interested in connecting with doctors who are open to providing home consultations within their areas of practice and who recognise the challenges faced by elderly, bedridden, special needs and chronic care patients.
By working together, we hope to help more families explore suitable medical support without unnecessary difficulty in accessing care.
We believe that every professional partnership can contribute to a more accessible and compassionate approach to home-based healthcare.
Doctors interested in collaborating with CARING MOMS are welcome to contact our team to discuss panel participation, service coverage and coordination arrangements.
Bringing Care to Those Who Cannot Easily Come to It
Our vision for 2029 is ambitious, but the purpose behind it is simple.
300 doctors. Three years. One mission: Bridging the gap between healthcare and home.
Every new partnership represents another opportunity to improve access to suitable medical services, ease the practical burden on families and support patients who may benefit from receiving care at home.
At CARING MOMS GROUP SDN BHD, we look forward to building a stronger network of healthcare professionals who share our commitment to making care more accessible.
Together, we can help bring healthcare closer to home.
